Lana's Cakewalk is a family owned bakery in Decatur, IL that specializes in custom decorated cakes and desserts. Owners are mother
and son Lana & Rob Bender. Lana has decorated for nearly 40 years and has been a bakery manager for local bakeries over the years.
She retired from the local utility company after nearly 20 years to pursue her dream of owning her own bakery. Rob is a journeyman
machinst by trade and has always had a love for baking and cooking. As he likes to tell it; he still works with precision numbers and grease.
Rob had worked after hours from his daytime job for many years in restaurants and banquet halls to fine-tune his food service skills.
He is the full time baker at Lana's Cakewalk.

Since we bake our products on-site daily we can offer the freshest quality. We make our prodcuts with care and love. We are very
proud of our family's recipes and our homemade flavors. Our customers are like family to us. We bake like we are baking for our
own family...nothing but the best!

We often say to our customers, "Thank you for letting us be a part of your celebration." If you think about it; we attend a lot of parties
and celebrations every week when our products are served! We may not be there in person, but we sure participate when our products
are enjoyed! What a fun and rewarding job!
